Privacy
ITOZE (Kigali, Rwanda) helps you prepare for the driving theory test. Here is, simply, what we keep and why.
What we keep
Your phone number (it is your account) and your PIN, stored protected (hashed) by our host: nobody can read it, us included. Your answers, mock exams and results. Your payments: amount, operator, mobile money number. If you give them: your exam date, your feedback, and the photo of a result for a refund claim.
Why
To run your practice, take and refund payments, honour the pass-or-refund guarantee, answer you, and improve the app.
Who else sees it
pawaPay processes mobile money payments. Google (Firebase) and Vercel host the app. PostHog measures how the app is used. Meta (Instagram) receives, to measure our ads, your number in a scrambled form (hashed, unreadable to them), your IP address and browser. We do not sell your data to anyone.
If a driving school invited you
If you signed up through a driving school’s link, it sees: the last 4 digits of your number, your sign-up, whether you are subscribed, your mock exams passed and your exam date. Never your answers, never your full number.
Messages
We may message you on WhatsApp to help you or ask how your test went. Reply STOP and we stop.
How long, and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. To delete it, message us on WhatsApp: we erase your account and practice data. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.
